Nicola WilsonNews:
Growing up in California, I was always invlved in sport swimming, athletics, water skiing, basketball and, from the age of 12, volleyball.
News:
Our aims in 2010 are to improve our world ranking points and gain more experience ahead of 2011, which will be Olympic Qualification year.
I’m currently doing a national diploma in sport at Berkshire College of Agriculture (BCA) and then after the summer I’m off to Sheffield Hallam University to do a BSC in sports coaching.
I don’t think going to uni will affect the amount I am able to train, but it depends on the facilities I find when I join a club up there.”
I have had a lot of support from BCA, who have allowed me time off and some financial support where they can. They’ve been great to me for the past two years and I would really like to say thank you.
Bio:My goals are the European Under 23 championships and the Commonwealth Games
Bio:Ive been injured and have only just started to train again. In 2010, the Europeans in August is on my Agenda.
I'm not expecting anything fantastic but to remain injury free would put me in a really strong place ahead of the 2011 World Championships.
Brandon Hepburn, 13, from Blackboy Lane, Hurley, is aiming to represent Great Britain by his 15th birthday and then hopes that to make the big time at London 2012.
Brandon is a freestyle kayaker, and despite his event not yet being an Olympic competition there is still every chance that the increasingly popular event could be included in four year’s time.

In 2010 I am looking forward to defending my worid title in Canada and also qualifying for the Commonwealth Games in the pool.
Canada will be cold, but it won't be the worst I've faced - In New York I was kicked in the mouth and became very dizzy.
Identical twins Helen and Carol Galashan are students at Leeds Metropolitan University, and are Britain's leading synchronised diving hopefuls for the 2012 Olympics.
The twins' training programme and the Aquatics Centre at the John Charles Centre for Sport in Leeds, where the girls train, are both backed by the Lottery. This means the girls have the best possible training facilities, and the best chance to realise their Olympic dream!

Nicola began competing with British Eventing in her mid-teens and got her first taste of success in 1997 when she was selected to ride as an individual for the Young Rider European Squad in Pratoni on Mr Bumble, a horse that Nicola’s mum bought as a 4yr old when she was 13 years of age.
The combination then went on to be 10th at Burghley in 1998. Nicola was also selected as a reserve for the 2005 Senior Europeans at Blenheim on Skiver.
Nicola is very grateful to have the support of her owners, sponsors, trainer- Chris Bartle and support team at home, together helping to make this selection possible and is very excited to be given a chance to ride at the European Championships on her long term ride, Opposition Buzz.
